For applying in person in the Consulate, please follow the instructions below:
Original version of Afghanistanโs ID (Tazkera) Dari/Pashtu version verified by the Civil Registration Authority of Afghanistan.
Copy of Tazkera translation duly attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan. (Copy of both side).
ONLY FOR CHILDREN: If born in the KSA and is under the age of 18, an original Birth Certificate is required. The Certificate must contain the names of both the father and mother of the child.
The presence of one of the parents and a copy of the Afghan Passport and Tazkira of both parents are required too.
At the instruction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, all Afghan absentee ID Cards (Tazkira) that have been issued without obtaining a letter from one of Afghanistanโs Consulates abroad are no longer considered valid.
Your most recent Afghan passport (Original version), NOT COPY.
If the passport is lost a police report is required, the report should include the full name of the passport holder and passport information.
An application must be filled carefully in BLOCK letters in English and Dari/Pashto for each applicant, with special attention to Given Name and Surnameโs spelling, Given Name MUST BE as it is in Tazkira, date of birth (Day/Month/Year), height, occupation and other specifics and accurate current address in the KSA.
For the child applicant, one of the parents can sign.
One (1) passport-size photo 4 by 4.5 cm with white background taken within the last six months for each application (please do not send an old photo).
IMPORTANT: If you use a hard copy of the passport application form, please make sure to use glue to attach the photo to the form. DO NOT USE STAPLES.
